Our processes for tracking, allocating and purchasing tools to be used on the manufacturing floor are extremely manual which has lead to increased purchasing and storage costs and delays in job completion.

Product Designer/Manager: Responsible for delivering end to end user-centered designs as well as balancing technical and business constraints.
outcome
Through our application, we were able to help create a “just in time” culture where the tools are ordered and used at the exact times needed which lead to cost savings within the manufacturing environment as well as in the warehouses. Additionally, transparency and communication were increased through a shared platform to view and evaluate tool inventory.
